Years ago, Terri and Dick Orgel of Memphis sent their four kids to Jacobs Camp to experience a Jewish community. This summer, Terri and Dick celebrated Shabbat at camp with their three grandchildren, many of whose cabinmates come from areas of the Deep South where there aren't enough Jews to sustain a synagogue. Marlee's Jewish Journey  URJ Kutz Camp, NFTY in Israel & NFTY Summers of informal Jewish education at camp and a trip with NFTY in Israel allowed Marlee Ribnick to fall in love with every teaching she had never understood in religious school. Those experiences lead her to her first NFTY event, and eventually helped her become a newly elected member of the NFTY North American board. Read more »
